SahaRa's pRobLem!

From 1997 principles the conflict of the Western Sahara is in a new phase for the possible resolution of this confrontation between the town saharaui and Morocco, that last near a quarter of century. This new one, and possibly last opportunity for La Paz, has responded initially to the change of will in the UN in which to this conflict it talks about, as well as to the increasing interest of the U.S.A. in the African continent. Nevertheless, to half of 1999 the process towards the celebration of a self-determination referendum continued joined due to the permanent exigency of Morocco, rejected by the leaders saharauis, of which they are recognized thousands of people like possible voters. The mission of the UN is critical in a while and exist serious possibilities that the situation remains bloqueda due to the disinterestedness of the UE, the U.S.A. and other countries. But a lack of solution for the legal situation of the Western Sahara could bring greater instability to the region.
